For the 2007 National Writers Workshop in San Antonio, I will be covering keynote speaker Wayne Slater, former Austin bureau chief for Dallas Morning News. Slater is known for his coverage of George W. Bush, having reported on the controversial figure for more than a decade. He is the author of Bush's Brain: How Karl Rove Made George W. Bush.
The second workshop I will cover is Loosening Lips: the Art of the Interview, featuring Eric Nalder of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
